What this short drama is about
After giving birth, Emma asks her husband Nathan for formula money. He makes her draw a mystery box: $9.90. For three years, he has punished her over an engagement payment she never arranged, while lavishing gifts on her sister Lily's baby. Emma plans to leave in seven days. Then their daughter needs emergency surgery. Nathan promises to come but goes to Lily instead, leaving Emma with $9.90 at the payment window. Three days later, he calls the hospital. The nurse tells him, “She died.”
