What this short drama is about
Leah Carver grows up in an imbalanced family, long suffering her parents’ favoritism and neglect. She buys a one-way ticket to a strange city to start a new life. There she falls in love with her program supervisor Julian, but her family calls the police on her wedding day under the pretext of a welfare check. With love and companionship, she breaks free from the “sensible” shackles, learns to set boundaries and voice her needs, and grows into an independent woman truly in charge of her own life
