The Moment You Chose Her

What this short drama is about

She was traded like a pawn in a marriage deal. He was the underworld king who was never supposed to fall for her. Evelyn Winston, heiress of New York's powerful Winston family, was forced into marriage with Morgan — the cold and untouchable godfather of the Gambino crime empire. She fought the arrangement at every turn. And every time, he caught her: shielding her from danger, breaking the rules, even defying a death ban to fly a helicopter into a warzone... just to bring her home alive. Slowly, her walls came down. She began to believe he truly loved her. Then she learned the truth: their marriage was nothing but a TRANSACTION. Morgan had handed her over in exchange for a presidential pardon — and helped her own father strip her birthright for a hidden illegitimate son. At the very moment her life hung by a thread... Morgan let her go. Heart dead, Evelyn struck back: divorce. Frozen assets. A return to her mother's family in Washington. With her grandfather Henry's backing — and her childhood protector Matthew, America's most powerful arbitration titan — she ascends as the new Queen of the North American underworld. Morgan comes to his senses... too late. Even taking a bullet for her earns him only one sentence: "Live. Stay awake. And suffer." When her enemies kidnap her grandfather in one final desperate move, Evelyn invokes the nation's highest executive powers to lock down the entire country — and the final reckoning engulfs the underworld.
