The Hidden Wife

What this short drama is about

Barton and Rose, who came from a poor background, went to visit their son Lucas, a high‑flying businessman. But they were humiliated by their daughter‑in‑law Alice. She even set her dog on Barton. The old couple were locked up illegally, and Barton ended up having to have his right arm amputated. Once Lucas found out the truth, he gathered evidence and fought back. Alice tried to get away with it by faking proof, but it backfired and she went to prison. The villa was turned into a safe shelter. With help from physiotherapist Sarah, Barton pulled through his trauma. Lucas fell in love with Sarah, while Alice had to work ordinary, low‑paid jobs at the bottom of society to try and redeem herself.
