The Heiress Found in Trash

What this short drama is about

I’m Molly Mills, an eight-year-old girl my foster parents took in. Life with the Mills family meant fighting for food, staying quiet when I got hit, and doing whatever it took to get by.One snowy night, they threw me out of the house. By the trash, I found a missing-person flyer for a girl named Ella. She had the exact same star-shaped birthmark on her right arm as I did.So I made the call. That same night, Ethan Hartley drove through the snow to find me. He dropped to his knees outside the phone booth and called me “Ella.”The DNA test came back with a 99.9999% match. I wasn’t some unwanted girl the Mills family had taken in. I was the missing heiress of the Hartley family—and I’d been stolen from them eight years ago.Later, when the Millses knelt outside my door begging me to forgive them, I only had one thing to say:“For every time you hit me, you’re going to pay.”
