The Good Girl They Never Came Back For

What this short drama is about

23-year-old Pearl, mentally stuck at five, is left alone while her family takes a graduation trip. A power and water outage traps her inside, terrified by her mother's lie that “monsters will eat you outside.” Starving and sick from rotting food, she calls her family, but they hang up, thinking she is faking. Days later, they return with a cake and find her stiff, lifeless body—leaving them with eternal, madness-inducing regret.
