The Fake Became the Mafia King’s Obsession

What this short drama is about

Brooklyn girl Mia is drowning in loan-shark debt. With a fake résumé and nothing but guts and a few lines memorized from The Godfather, she storms into the top-floor office of Julian, a powerful Wall Street crime boss, and somehow lands a $200,000-a-year job as his private Italian interpreter. During negotiations, Mia wildly twists “terminate the deal” into “sign now or we burn the bridge.” Julian, who speaks fluent Italian, sees right through her—but instead of exposing her, he plays along and starts treating her like his queen. At an Upper East Side gala, he even shuts down a socialite who dares to humiliate her. But Julian has known the truth all along. Mia is the same girl who saved him on the streets ten years ago. After the truth comes out, Mia works hard to master the job and turns the tables in a deadly business trap. What begins as an obsessive pursuit eventually becomes a powerful partnership—and a love story with a sweet ending.
