Exiled to the Polar Wasteland, I Own a Tropical Island

What this short drama is about

The story follows Lu Chen, who travels to the Great Zhou Dynasty. Using his wisdom, he assists Princess Ji Yue in ascending the throne. Yet after she seizes power, Lu Chen is betrayed. His family property is confiscated, and his entire clan is exiled to the frigid Far North. The Second Princess Ji Yao pleads for Lu Chen and gets implicated, forced to join the exile. Blizzards, hunger and bitter cold push the group to the brink of death. Lu Chen’s family is bullied by Lei Laosan, a tyrant in the exile camp, and they nearly freeze to death on the snowfield. At this desperate moment, Lu Chen awakens the **Space Survival System** and unlocks a lush tropical island blazing with sunshine and abundant natural resources. While others struggle desperately for a bowl of hot porridge amid frozen wastelands, Lu Chen brings his family to the island to enjoy seafood and sunlight. This stark contrast in living conditions quickly turns his fate around, and he gradually wins over Lei Laosan and his men. As the exile convoy marches further north, Lu Chen keeps developing the island’s resources and completing system quests. He gains modern gear, gunpowder, firearms and various cutting-edge technologies far ahead of his era. He builds a modern mechanical pontoon bridge to cross frozen rivers, and uses assault rifles to crush barbarian cavalry. Modern civilization unleashes a dimensional strike against the ancient world.
