Betrayal Made Me a God

What this short drama is about

Theron is the city-state's favourite joke: a lowly temple priest living off his wife's money. What nobody knows is that he carries the last Olympian bloodline in his veins, sealed beneath a worn leather bracer, and has silently endured five years of humiliation. His moment comes when he brings his crippled father Phaedrus home from across the Aegean. Instead of a welcome, the old man is beaten bloody, their gift of sacred wine is smashed, and Theron is dragged through the mud before the whole city — all so his wife Corinna, mistress of the Arena of Ares, can keep her gladiator lover Drakon and the dowry her own father bled to earn. Then the queen of Mycenae arrives, and Theron tears off the bracer. Betrayal did not break him. It made him a god.
